Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Budlogs (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Budlogs is a brand of Voceway Group Limited.

Description of Service

Budlogs is a mobile application that helps you track your budget and spending. The App allows you to:

• Set a budget for daily, weekly, or monthly periods
• Log spending entries
• View your remaining budget
• Access premium features through subscription

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Budlogs. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Account and Data

No Account Required

Budlogs does not require user accounts. All data is stored locally on your device.

Data Responsibility

• Your Data: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter
• Data Loss: We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device malfunction, app deletion, operating system updates, or device loss or theft
• Backup: It is your responsibility to maintain backups of your data if desired

Data Deletion

• You may delete all app data at any time through the Settings screen
• Deleting the App from your device will permanently delete all associated data
• We cannot recover deleted data

Premium Subscriptions

Subscription Plans

Budlogs offers premium subscriptions with the following features:

• Receipt scanning via share extension
• Additional premium features as may be added

Subscription Terms

• Payment:Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system
• Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
• Refunds:Refund requests must be submitted through Apple’s refund process
• Price Changes:We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice

Subscription Management

• All subscription management is handled by Apple
• We do not have access to your payment information
• Subscription status is verified through Apple’s StoreKit framework

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality

Receipt Scanning Feature

Accuracy Disclaimer

The receipt scanning feature uses on-device OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology:

• Not Guaranteed: OCR accuracy is not guaranteed and may vary based on image quality
• Verification Recommended: You should verify all automatically extracted amounts
• No Liability: We are not liable for errors in amount extraction
• Manual Entry: You can always manually enter amounts if OCR fails

Image Processing

• Images are processed locally on your device
• Images are not stored after processing
• No images are transmitted to external servers

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by us
• All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are our property
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App

Your Rights

• You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App
• You grant us no rights to your data beyond what is necessary to provide the App’s functionality

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy or reliability of data.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, personal injury or property damage, or any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Not Financial Advice

Budlogs is a budgeting tool intended for personal tracking purposes only. It does not provide financial advice, recommendations, or guidance. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the App. You should consult a qualified financial professional for financial advice.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Termination

By You

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device and cancelling your subscription (if applicable).

By Us

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time
• Discontinue the App or any part thereof
• Modify or discontinue features at any time

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the “Last Updated” date, and providing notice through the App Store listing.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996, with jurisdiction in England and Wales.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Apple-Specific Terms

App Store Terms

• These Terms are in addition to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service
• You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App

Third-Party Services

• The App uses Apple’s services (StoreKit, App Groups, etc.)
• Your use of these services is subject to Apple’s terms and conditions
• We are not responsible for Apple’s services or policies
